Use Out-of-the-Box Insights
- Create a new Dashboard OR edit an existing Dashboard
- Drag prebuilt insights from the Insights Edit on the left panel
- Drop them into a dashboard and click Save
Create Custom Insights
Create a new Dashboard OR edit an existing Dashboard
- Drag an Insight from New Items onto a dashboard
- Analytical Designer will launch
- Choose your Insight type and drag in metrics/attributes into the center panel
- Edit, format and save
Include Custom Field Data
If you have Custom Fields configured in one of your HammerTech modules, you can have this data feed through into Insights for inclusion.
- Go to Administration, select module type to include the Custom Field data from.
- Scroll down to Custom Fields > Permissions > tick Report [Insights] under the field
- Note: Only 40 fields per module are allowed and Data flows in after the next overnight refresh
- Note: To check which modules can have Custom Fields data feed into Insights, go to Administration > Insights Custom Fields.
Hours Worked Differences
- Daily Report: Hours grouped per employer per day
- Sign-In: Based on individual sign-in/out, more granular
- These numbers won’t align, as Daily Report and Sign-In data are tracking different metrics.
