Create an SDS

Manual Submission

1. Go to SDS > Create New
2. Select an Employer
3. Fill in:
   • Manufacturer / Supplier
   • Product Name / Unique Formula ID
   • Hazard classification
   • Comments
   • Issue & Expiry dates
4. Select Hide from Public Site if needed
5. Upload the file (up to 25MB)
6. Select pictograms to represent hazards visually
7. Attach additional files if needed
8. Add Reviewer Notes
9. Click Create

Using HammerTech Intelligence (HTI)

1. Go to SDS > Create New
2. Upload a PDF copy of the SDS
3. Select Accept & Continue to use HTI auto-fill
4. HTI extracts:
   1. Manufacturer
   2. Product Name
   3. Comments
   4. Issue & Expiry dates (expiry set to 5 years after issue by default)
   5. GHS pictograms
5. Verify the auto-filled information and fill any additional fields if needed
6. Click Create

You can opt out of HTI auto-fill by selecting Create Manually after file upload.
