NOTE: If a change to a timezone is needed, this can only be performed by the HammerTech Support Team
Modifying an Existing Project
You can update most project details except domain, timezone, or creation date.
- Go to Administration > Project Management
- Select a project
- Edit available fields and click Save Changes
Create a Region
Regions group projects under your organisation’s hierarchy. They streamline access and allow region-specific templates.
- Go to Administration > Region Management
- Click + to create
- Enter a name
- Leave the Parent as Base Level if the new region is not going to live under an existing region
- Otherwise, select which Region or Sub Region it will live under
- Tick Show as Filter on Public Site if you want workers to filter projects by region
NOTE: Once created, you need to go to Project Management to assign Projects to the Region
NOTE: To edit a Region, this is also done via Administration > Region Management
Archiving a Project
Archiving locks a project while preserving all data.
- Go to Administration > Project Management
- Select a project > Options > Archive.
- Confirm
- Archived projects become read-only
Unarchive a Project (not recommended)
Unarchive of a project cannot be done by the end user.
Only HammerTech Support can perform this operation.
NOTE: When our HammerTech Support Team unarchive a project, it is NOT a supported operation
While it will make the project visible again, the following items will NOT be automatically restored after the unarchive process is complete and may need to be manually reconfigured:
- Employer/Subcontractor portal access: All employer users, employer admins, and project primary contacts were removed from the project and will need to be re-added manually
- Permit Types, Booking Types, Meeting Types, Inspection Types: These mappings were cleared and will need to be reassigned to the project
- PTP Risk Types and Mitigations: These mappings were removed
- Dynamic Features: Any project-specific feature toggles were removed
- Public Website Visibility: The public project website is now hidden and will need to be manually reenabled if required. Additionally, some users may have been deactivated if they had no other active projects - they would need to be reactivated separately.
- Testing: We recommend that you thoroughly test all functionality after Customer Support unarchive your project to ensure everything is working as expected.
