If you're a worker, you do not need a login to register and complete your orientation. The process is mobile-based and self-contained.
Step 1 - Begin Enrollment
- Go to the URL provided by your company (e.g. general contractor-name.hammertechonline.com)
- do not add "www." in front of the link
- do not search for the link via Google
- Select your Project
- Click the Begin Enrollment button
- Enter your personal details and cell number
- Complete the reCAPTCHA and submit
- Enter the verification code sent to your phone
Important note for Main Contractor
- If you have set the project to be hidden from public view there is NO way to provide workers an accessible URL to do their inductions
- In these situations, your options are...
- Send the worker an SMS via Personnel > SMS Orientation Link
- Have the Subcontractor or Main Contractor manually add workers within HammerTech
- As the Main Contractor you could also send yourself the SMS, copy the URL from inside the SMS and manually email that to workers via an external email client (such as Outlook or Gmail)
Step 2 - Match or Create Profile
Depending on what you enter, you will see:
- Match Found - update your licenses if necessary and proceed
- Partial Match - adjust your name/date of birth or create a new profile
- No Match - proceed to create a new profile
If you're unsure whether you registered with this general contractor before, contact your employer or the general contractor's project team.
QR code won't load or fails to scan
- Make sure the permission to use the camera is enabled for your browser
- Use built-in QR code scanner on your device, not a third-party app
- Make sure you open the link in a supported browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox)
