Create & Import Location Hierarchies

Learn how to structure different locations on your site.

An example of how site hierarchy's are structured, are listed below. 

• Project
  • Site
    • Building / Area
      • Level / Floor
        • Zone / Section
          • Room / Work Area

What you'll need

Create Location Hierarchies 

1. Ensure you are in a Project 
2. Select Project Settings > Location Hierarchies 
3. Select Options > Add New
4. Either add a Base Level or choose an Existing Level

5. Select Create 

    

Import Location Hierarchies

Import a full location structure via Excel/CSV:

1. Go to Location Hierarchies > Options > Import
2. Use the downloadable template
3. Review and confirm upload
4. Use consistent formatting. Max 10 levels. Sub-locations must show full path
