Company-level QR Codes:
Company-level QR codes are designed to work across all projects within your organisation. This means a single QR code can be used for a piece of equipment, regardless of which site or project it is currently assigned to.
- Each piece of equipment is assigned one universal QR code.
- The same QR code remains valid even if the equipment is used across multiple projects.
- When a user scans the QR code, they will be prompted to select the relevant project from a dropdown list.
How to create a company level QR code:
1. Switch to Company Overview
2. Go to Equipment
3. Select item > Download
4. Export QR Code
Project-Level QR Codes
Project-level QR codes are specific to a single project. They are tied directly to the project where they were created and will only function within that context.
- A unique QR code is generated for each piece of equipment within a specific project.
- The QR code will only work when scanned within that same project.
- If the equipment is moved or imported into a different project, the original QR code will no longer work.
- A new QR code must be generated for that equipment in the new project.
How to create a Project level QR code:
1. Switch to a Project
2. Go to Equipment
3. Select item > Download
4. Export QR Code
