The Permits system allows projects to set a Cut-Off Time for permit applications. This prevents Subcontractors from submitting a Permit request after a specified time for the following day, giving managers better visibility of upcoming site work.
For example, if the Cut-Off Time is set to 7:00pm, Subcontractors can only apply for a Permit up to 6:59pm on the day before the required Permit.
Set the Cut-Off Time
- Log in to HammerTech
- Navigate via the left-hand menu: Project Settings > Permit Cut-Off Time.
- Enter the Cut-Off Time by:
- Selecting the clock icon.
- Using the inbuilt clock to choose the appropriate time.
- Click Save Changes.
The Cut-Off Time is now applied to the project.
Remove the Cut-Off Time (Optional)
If a Cut-Off Time is not required:
- Log in to HammerTech
- Navigate to Project Settings > Permit Cut-Off Time.
- Delete any text or numbers in the Cut-Off Time field.
- Click Save Changes.
Permits can now be submitted at any time.
