The Welcome Email is sent to the Primary Contact to introduce them to the system and project. It also prompts them to begin inducting personnel and submitting SWMS.
Important: The Welcome Email can only be sent if the Primary Contact's First Name, Last Name, and Email have been entered. If the Primary Contact does not have a login, one will be created automatically when their details are entered. Sending a Welcome Email When Creating an Employer
To send a Welcome Email during the Employer setup process, follow the steps outlined in Employers > Setting Up An Employer

Sending a Welcome Email After an Employer Has Been Created
To send a Welcome Email after an Employer is set up, follow these steps:

Log into HammerTech.

Select your required project from the Company Overview drop-down in the top-right corner.

Navigate to Employers > Active.

Select the Employer you wish to send the Welcome Email to.

The Welcome Email column will indicate if an email has not been sent.

Click the Options cog in the top-right corner.

Select Send Welcome Email.
Alternative Method: You can also send the Welcome Email from the Employer's Edit page:

Navigate to the Edit page of the Employer.

Check the Send Welcome Email box under Employer Options.

Add any specific instructions if needed.

Click Save Changes to finalize the action.
Resending a Welcome Email
To resend a Welcome Email, follow these steps:

Log into HammerTech.

Select your required project from the Company Overview drop-down in the top-right corner.

Navigate to Employers > Active.

Select the Employer you wish to resend the Welcome Email to.

The Welcome Email column will indicate if an email has not been sent.

Click the Options cog in the top-right corner.

Select Resend Welcome Email.
Alternative Method: You can also resend the Welcome Email from the Employer's Edit page:

Navigate to the Edit page of the Employer.

Check the Resend Welcome Email box under Employer Options.

Add any specific instructions if needed.

If the Primary Contact's details need updating, select Send a request to update employer details.
