Deactivating & Reactivating Employers

Employers within the HammerTech system can be deactivated (temporarily or permanently) when required.

Deactivating temporarily (removing from project)

1. Select a project from the Company Overview drop-down on the top right
2. Select Employers > Active
3. Select the Employer you wish to Deactivate
4. Select Options > Deactivate
5. Confirm deactivation after reading the warning message

Reactivating an Employer on a project

1. Select a project from the Company Overview drop-down on the top right
2. Select Employers > Active
3. Select Filter on the top right, then filter for Deactivated status
   
   
   
   
4. Select the Employer you want to reactivate on the project
5. Select Options > Activate
6. Confirm your selection

Note: any workers that were approved under the Employer in question before deactivation will be re-activated alongside the Employer

Deactivating permanently

PLEASE NOTE: this action cannot be undone.

If you would like to remove an Employer from the system permanently, you can permanently deactivate their profile (it isn't possible to delete an Employer from HammerTech to maintain transparency of past records). This cannot be reversed, and the Employer will no longer be available to import onto another project, reactivate, of perform any other actions going forward.

1. From Company Overview, go to Employers > Active
2. Select the Employer you would like to deactivate
3. Select Options > Deactivate
4. Read the warning message
5. Select whether you want to deactivate the SDS associated with the Employer
6. Confirm your decision by typing the confirmation text into the text box, then select Deactivate
