Importing SDS

Importing SDS

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select the project to which you want to import the SDS from the drop-down on the top right
3. Select SDS > Import
4. Filter the available SDS by Keywords, Projects, and Employers
   Note: you can preview the SDS before selecting by clicking the View button next to it.
5. Tick Exclude Expired to remove expired SDS from the list
6. Tick the checkbox next to the SDS you want to import
   Note: up to 20 SDS can be imported at once.
7. Review the list of SDS being imported under the Selected SDS section
8. Click Import

Please note: the Import function brings over the most recent version of the SDS from a specific project. We therefore highly recommend filtering the SDS by project to ensure you have the correct version selected.

SDS imported by Main Contractor users will be Approved automatically as soon as they are Imported.

SDS imported by Employer users will be marked as Pending Review and will need to be approved by a Main Contractor user (see SDS > Review And Approve / Reject)
