If you have Custom Fields configured in one of your HammerTech modules, you can have this data feed through into Insights for inclusion.
Insights has a limit of 40 Custom Fields per module it can pull data from - you will need to manually select the fields you want included.
Please note: data from Subforms cannot be pulled into Insights.
To select a Custom Field to be included into Insights:
- Go to the module you want to include the Custom Field from
- Find the Custom Field and open the Permissions section under it
- Tick the Report [Insights] check box
- Click Save Changes
Note: The data will flow into Insights during the overnight data refresh - therefore, Custom Fields data points will not be available until the day after the changes are made.
Note: Only admin users will be able to make the change.
Checking Insights Custom Fields
To check how many Custom Fields currently feed data into Insights, and what those fields are:
- Go to Administration > Insights Custom Fields
- You can check the number of Custom Fields currently included into Insights from the list view
- If a list of specific fields included into Insights from a specific module is needed, click the Download button - it will export the list of all the fields included from a module in spreadsheet format
